Two Studio Albums by KONGRESS Members

As my way of saying THANK YOU for your support, I wanted to give you a chance to get two albums made by members of KONGRESS in an improvisational setting. This collection includes albums under two different names - the first is Fugue of Death by Funeral of Art & the second is Cybercrazed by Virtual Reality.
Fugue of Death by Funeral of Art is a magnificent improv recording in 1973, captured on cassette & processed with special ops recently. The title is from a poem by Paul Celan, who committed suicide long before he heard this, sadly. No lyrics, but his poem is embodied in the track. It was finally released September 18, 2018. This is some of the best playing by these individual stellar musicians, all at the drop of a hat after the rabbits magically escaped. When you can hear him, VON LMO is playing drums like no other. Rodentius Grok grinds his guitar with wah wah wonderment, mixing funk & jazz in a John McLaughlin/Frank Zappa style. Sal Maida of multiple fame from more popular groups, makes a guest dis-appearance, as he has never heard some of his best playing. Otto von Ruggins can be heard in his pre-synth days giving it his all on the Hammond Organ with riffs that begged to be played to by all. Finally, a bonus track, 'Flute Cake', includes John Capelli on drums, Jon Stevens on flute, Grok flying on guitar & Otto on organ. This is precious found material to destroy brain cells to!
The other is Cybercrazed by Virtual Reality - It was Aleister Crowley's Birthday and this came from somewhere to be seen, as there is a video of this event which will be made available on this site shortly, now that the recording has found its natural space. It was a complete improvisation - music & lyrics! Hear the indomitable VON LMO on drums! Released October 12, 2018, it features the following KONGRESS members - VON LMO - Drums, Marilyn (Horan) - Vocal Improvisations (who knew she was capable of?), Otto von Ruggins - Synthesizer Wizardry (all tracks) & Guest keyboardist Elliot Sewell - Synthesizer Spice to the Mix (except 'I Survived', 'Tic Tac Toe' & 'Cybercrazed' tracks).
Now that there is a KONGRESS website, I will be removing these albums from Bandcamp, so they will not be available there. While they may be obtainable on iTunes & other vendors, they will be closer to $20 if bought together. You can get to hear samples of both albums on the iTunes store
